Small piece of work....... to giveaway!

Good Morning all! Today I thought I would share a smaller piece of artwork, an artist trading card with a garden theme.  I thought it was appropriate for this time of year. I am so waiting for the weather to warm up so that the garden can be tidied up and prepared for the spring plantings!
I have simply stamped the image and coloured it in using my pro markers. Then I stamped the image again, so that I could cut out some areas to layer up.  The writing is computer printed and adhered and a little distress inks added to the edges.

 Hope you all like it!
I would like to give this away.  If you would like to receive it, please leave me a comment on this post by the 1st of March 2012 and I will choose a winner!

Birthday Card

Today's card took me some time to complete.  I am a bit out of my comfort zone when it comes to creating cards for men, but I stuck with it and this is the completed card. The main focus is the car, a Tim Holtz die and I even managed to use my Spellbinder dies to cut some gold card for along the base.

Special Day Wishes

Good afternoon! The card I have to show today was created with a free stamp set and small embossing folder that I received with a magazine purchase some time ago. A very simple card to make and I'm pleased with the result!

A New Baby Girl....(pink)

A few weeks ago, I stamped 2 baby girl images.  On one I used blue colours, which I have shared with you all, but the other I had to do in pink!!  I then used my dies to cut out the image and added some distress inks around the edges to complete. A little bit of ribbon, added the sentiment along with some gems!!

February 14th

Well, today is Valentine's Day, so I will share with you all the I card made for my husband.  He likes 'no fuss cards' and 'less is more', so this is what I came up with and he liked it!!

My flowers received......

It is also my Grandmother's Birthday today, she is 85!  These are the two cards that I created for her.  The first is a soft vintage style card, whilst the second is a poppy card.  I stamped onto acetate and used distress inks for the background.

A Man's Card...

Today's card is for a male. The embossing folder used as the main background was kindly lent to me by Susan-thank you so much! I simply embossed the image and then added distress inks. The photo isn't great, but I am pleased with the finished result!

A Blanket of Snow....

Not too much crafting this weekend, as we had a delivery of snow for the weekend. The children loved it, they went sledging and then built an igloo in the garden!

A New Baby Girl...

I bought a new stamp last week and wanted to try it out.  With it being a delicate image, I decided to colour it in using watercolours for a fresh and light look and then adding my baby girl sentiment.
