Belated Christmas Wishes!

Good Evening All!
A slightly different post today as I wanted to share with you all what my daughter made at school this year for Christmas, she is 7 1/2.  I had wanted to post this on Christmas Day, but with cooking for 15, there unfortunately wasn't a spare minute!  I was so impressed with this make! It is simply made out of clay and then painted.

Wishing you all a wonderful New Year's Eve!
Thank you all for reading my blog this year and leaving such lovely comments.  Looking forward to more crafting and inspiration from you all in 2014!

Heartfelt Creations - Floral Key Collection - Encircled Keys

Hi Everyone, hope you are all nearly ready for Christmas which is getting very, very close now! Thank you also for the lovely Birthday messages I received last week, I had a lovely day!

Heartfelt Creations recently launched The Floral Key Collection which has a neutral, vintage colour palette.  The collection includes key and lock stamps along with the Burnished Key Die which enables you to cut all 17 images at once!  I have made a pink and girly card which could be used for many occasions.

Card Size: 12cm x 12cm.
Instructions:
Stamp the focal image onto pink card using black ink and heat emboss using clear powder.  Die cut using a circle die from the standard circles large(number 5 die, counting the smallest as number 1).  Also die cut a black circle using die number 6 from the same set and a white circle using die number 6, using standard circles small.  Layer these three together using foam pads. Die cut the Filigree Delight frame using brown, grey and cream patterned paper from the Floral Key Paper Collection.  Then cut this piece in half, form into a square and adhere together using glue. (Mine measured 10cm x 10cm).  Cut a square from black glossy card to measure 11cm x 11cm and a square from pink card to measure 10 1/2cm x 10 1/2cm.  Layer these onto the main card using double sided tape.  Adhere the main image to the centre.  Stamp the two matching keys using the Burnished Key Stamp and heat emboss with clear embossing powder, die cut using the matching die.  Create a triple bow from pink organza ribbon. Thread the keys onto the silver cord, tie around the centre of the bow and then into a bow.  Add to the main card using a hot glue gun to complete.

Heartfelt Creations - Thoughtful Juliet

Hi Everyone and apologies for my absence.  I had two very busy weeks, but back today with my Heartfelt Creations post.  This card was made only using the Sweet Juliet Collection,  I took my colour inspiration from the background paper and continued from there.  A simple card in lovely rich colours!

Card Size: 12cm x 12cm.
Instructions:
Cut down a floral piece of paper from the collection to measure 11 1/2cm x 11 1/2cm.  Add the red ink around the edges and heat emboss.  Cut down some dark red card to measure 11 3/4cm x 11 3/4cm, adhere this to the main card blank using double sided tape.  Then adhere the floral paper over the top.  Die cut 3 flowers using the Juliet dies, 2 large ( 1 from dark red card and 1 from grey card) and 1 small using dark red card.  Form the flowers and secure using brads.  Create 3 holes through the card and attach the flowers using the brads to the card.  Die cut 3 vines, 1 from dark red card, 1 from grey card and 1 from dark red felt.  Cut them down, arrange around the flowers and adhere with glue.  Cut a strip of the Thinking Of You sentiment from the paper collection, cut down and adhere in place creating a dome effect.   Complete by adding the silver pearls.

Heartfelt Creations - Tattered Fall Postcard

Good Evening to you all!
Thank you all for the lovely comments on my last post and also for all your support and votes that helped me continue on the Heartfelt Creations Design Team!
This is my card that was featured on the Heartfelt Creations blog yesterday.  A small, autumnal coloured card using the postcard stamp along with some felt, twine and a button!

Card Size: 4 1/8" x 3 3/8".
Instructions:
Using your Grand Calibur, cut two rectangles from cream card, using the 3rd and 5th dies from matting Basics A(counting the smallest as the 1st die).  Using a piece of low tack adhesive place the smaller die cut on top of the larger( this is only to keep it in place whilst stamping). Using the Kaleidacolor ink pad, ink up the postcard stamp and stamp directly onto these pieces firmly.  Separate the pieces and gently blend distress ink around the edges.  Using Matting Basics B, use the 4th die to cut a rectangle from dark brown card.  Use the 6th die to create your card blank.  Adhere the smallest two die cuts together and adhere the larger stamped image onto the card front.  Die cut the vine from brown card and orange felt.  Cut down and adhere to the front.  Wrap twine around the smaller image, create a triple bow and add a button.  Adhere to the card front using foam pads.

Heartfelt Creations - Elegant Congrats

Good Morning and welcome everyone! The new Heartfelt Creations Design Team has been announced and I am very happy to be continuing with this wonderful company!  We have had to say goodbye to some ladies, but at the same time a big welcome and congratulations to the new members!
My card today is very appropriate for the new team for the next six months!

Card Size: 12cm x 12cm
Instructions:
Stamp the message onto blue cardstock using Black Versafine ink and heat emboss using clear embossing powder.  Using the matting basics die, die cut to size.  Then create layers using these dies from black and white cardstock.  Adhere the message to the black card using double sided tape and then onto the white card using foam pads.  Cut down some black gloss card to measure 12cm x 11.5cm.  Using Versamark ink and the foliage stamp, stamp all over this piece of card.  Add clear embossing powder and heat emboss.  Add the same ink around the edges and again heat emboss.  Cut some blue card to measure 12.5cm x 12.5cm and emboss using the Swiss Dots embossing folder.  Apply Versamark ink around the edges and heat emboss with clear powder.  Add the blue card to the main card blank and layer the black card using double sided tape.  Add the message layers to the centre with foam pads.  Create a triple bow on a bow maker and glue onto the card.  Die cut and create a flower using the Sweet Juliet die, secure using a blue brad.  Glue onto the bow to complete.

A Wish For You - Vintage Style

Hi Everyone! Hope you are all having a lovely weekend!
A vintage style card today as I haven't done one like this for some time.  I have to admit that when I started this one, I nearly didn't complete it, but I continued with it and was really pleased with the end result!

Card Size: 14.5cm x 11cm
Instructions:
Stamp the image onto a page front from the Antiquity Paper Collection using Aged Mahogany Ink. (I used the same one as used for the card front).  Allow the ink to dry and apply 3D clear gloss finish, using a paintbrush to smooth it out (work quickly as it start to dry).  Allow to dry.  Die cut  using a circle die.  Then die cut two more circles using paper from the collection and distress/roughen the edges using your scissors. Layer these pieces together using foam pads.  Cut a card blank from dark brown card to measure 14.5cm x 11cm.  Cut down a floral matching paper from the collection to measure 13.5cm x 10.5cm and adhere to the card front with double sided tape.  Cut out the card front from the collection and add a matte of dark brown cardstock.  Add this to the card front along with the sentiment.  Die cut 4 flowers, 1 large from dark brown card and 3 smaller ones using the same papers as before.  Fold and create the flowers securing with a brad. Create 3 holes to the left of the sentiment.  Secure the flowers into place using the brads.  Create a small bow from some natural cord and glue into place with the flower on top.

Beautiful Framed Juliet

Good Afternoon Friends!
A card made using a the Sweet Juliet Collection by Heartfelt Creations.  I have used this floral die so much already, love it and I have more card examples to follow.  It's so quick and easy to assemble the flowers which complete a card perfectly!

Card Size: 9.5cm x 13.5cm
Instructions:
Stamp the image onto acetate using black StazOn ink.  When dry, colour the image on the reverse using promarker pens.  Die cut the frame from red cardstock, then cut down the acetate to fit behind and attach using eyelets in the corners.  On the main card blank, punch some small holes about 1/2cm in from each corner. ( The card blank is slightly smaller than the frame. so that the front can give a 'dome' effect).  Attach the framed front using brads through the eyelets.  Die cut the flower from red and white card, create and secure with a red brad.  Add to the card along with a red ribbon to complete.

Heartfelt Creations - Sweet Juliet Collection

Good Afternoon All!
Heartfelt Creations are pleased to introduce the Sweet Juliet Collection.  This collection is inspired by the beauty of ancient rooms locked away and laden with antique treasures.  These rooms are filled with yellow candlelight and dusty vases.  Crinkly letters lay scattered around, turning crisp and fading more everyday.  A postcard lays covered in  thick dust, forgotten in a dark corner. Using these detailed, floral stamps, complemented by black, gold and burgundy papers will enable you to create an outstanding classical creation.
Leave a comment on the Heartfelt Creations Blog by October 15th and you will be eligible to win the entire collection valued at $150!

Instructions:
Card Size - 12cm x 12cm
Stamp the main image (twice) and the butterfly (once) onto white card using the Kaleidacolor ink pad.  Die cut the circle part of the stamped image on one of the pieces only, and using a labels 3 die, die cut the second fully stamped image.  layer the circle onto this piece using foam pads.  Die cut a larger frame using orange card, layer up using foam pads.  Die cut the butterfly using the matching die.  Cut some brown cardstock to 24cm x 24cm.  Score and fold in half to create a card blank.  Emboss the front of the card using the vines embossing folder.  Add the two ribbons side by side around the centre of the card.  Tie the bows separately and glue into place.  Add the main image to the card front and adhere using foam pads.  add the butterfly and complete by adding the pearls.

Heartfelt Creations - Just For You Mini Floret Notebook

Good Evening All!
A little notebook to share today that I altered using Heartfelt Creations products - papers, stamps and dies from the Burst Of Splendour Collection.  It just all came together and I was really pleased with the end result! Really wanted to keep this one but at the end of each month, all of my projects are sent off to Heartfelt Creations in the US for their displays.  Will just have to make another one for myself, these would make lovely Christmas gifts too!

Instructions:

Cover the outside and inside of the notebook using a page from the Burst of Splendour Paper Collection. Add ink around all the edges using Picket Fence Distress Stain.  Stamp the sentiment onto some cream card using purple ink.  Cover the wording with a double sided adhesive sheet and adhere the glass micro beads. Cut the sentiment down to fit into the frame and fix together. Stamp the leaves using the tutorial that Emma Lou has demonstrated here, using Bamboo leaves and Pear tart inks for the bold leaf stamp and Cottage Ivy for the open leaf stamp onto the same paper.( I stamped 2 of these)  Die cut using the matching die.  Cut down the leaves and arrange around the sentiment, then adhere into place with glue.  Apply some purple ink onto cream card and emboss with clear powder.  Die cut using the mini flower die.  Shape and apply to the leaves with glue.  To complete add gold cord around the spine of the book and tie a bow.

Heartfelt Creations - So Sorry

Good Morning All and Welcome to my newest followers!
A CAS card today, but loved how this card turned out.  (It's much better in 'real life', I struggled to get a good photo of the shimmer highlights I added to the flowers).  These stamps are so pretty and intricate in design that sometimes I love to simply stamp them, as you can then see all the detailing of the stamp itself!

Instructions
Card Size - 14.5cm x 11cm.

Begin by stamping the Dahlia Bouquet image onto white card using VersaMagic Purple Hydrangea ink.  To create a watercolour effect, ink the stamp up, then stamp onto some scrap paper.  Spritz the stamp with some water and then stamp onto some white card and leave to dry.  This creates a gentle, soft look and when dry, add some highlights using a Sakura Clear Star pen and gently wash over with a waterbrush.  Cut down the card to measure 10.5cm x 13.5cm.  Add the same ink to the edges and heat emboss with clear embossing powder.   On separate white card stamp the sentiment using the same ink and heat emboss.  Die cut using a circle die and punch a hole in the top.  Add more ink around the circle edge and again heat emboss.  Add silver cord around the card looping through the sentiment and tie in a  bow.  Secure the sentiment in place using foam pads.  Layer up onto some purple card using foam pads and adhere to main card front using double sided tape.

Add another piece of cream linen card behind the image adhering this to the folded sides and the the main card front.  Stamp a set of leaves using Memento Bamboo leaves onto the same paper and die cut using the matching dies.  Stamp the sentiment onto cream card using black ink and heat emboss with clear embossing powder.   Die cut using the tag die.  Add some gold cord and tie and few bows.  Die cut the small flowers from a pink section of paper and shape.  Add the  leaves and tag to the frame using foam pads and add the flowers using glue.

Heartfelt Creations - Happy Anniversary

Hi Everyone!  Apologies for my absence over the past few weeks, I have been on a family holiday to Menorca, a lovely island where we had time to relax, read some books, and I also ate too much! Then had 2 weeks at a summer camp in the UK with the children, with some lovely weather once again.  I had no Internet access, so will catch up with your lovely blogs over the next few days.

Adhere to the card blank. On separate card stamp the image using purple and green Ink It Up inks and heat emboss with clear embossing powder.  Die cut using a circle die, add purple ink around the edges and heat emboss.  Using paper from this collection, stamp the leaves in purple ink and die cut using the matching dies.  Blend some purple ink around the edges.  Add the main image to the card and add the leaves around and behind the flower using foam pads.  Stamp the sentiments using purple ink, heat emboss and cut out.  Die cut a circle from white card, add purple ink around the edges and heat emboss.  punch a small hole.  Adhere the wording using foam pads.  Add some silver cord around  the card and loop through the sentiment tag and tie a bow.

Adhere to a cream card blank, leaving a thin border.  On separate cream card, stamp the birthday sentiment using Black Versafine ink and heat emboss using the clear embossing powder.  Cut down this card to measure 11cm x 1cm and layer onto black card.   Add some pink ink to a piece of cream card and heat emboss this also.  Die cut the flowers from this piece and die cut two vines using paper from the collection.   Add the acetate to the card using strong double sided tape only at the bottom part.   Add the sentiment to the card and arrange the vines and flowers to complete.

Heartfelt Creations and Scor-Pal Projects

Hi Everyone,
Today we are doing a cross promotion with Scor-Pal.  Please visit the Heartfelt Creations Blog and the Score-Pal blog and be prepared to to be blown away with all the amazing projects featuring the Score-Pal and Heartfelt Creations products.  I am new to the Scor-Pal Measuring and Scoring Board and must say that I found it so easy to use, I love it!

Instructions:
Begin by following the Note Holder tutorial on Splitcoast Stampers using the red pearlescent card stock and the Score-Pal board.  When you have scored and cut out the base of the box, stamp the snowflake stamp all over both sides of the card using white Ink It Up ink and heat set.  assemble the box adding the ribbon and button detailing.  For the notelets, cut down the copy paper to measure 3 1/2" squares and round the corners.  Using grey London Fog ink, stamp the snowflake into the lower right corner and over stamp with the Christmas message using red Lady Bug ink.  Repeat this process until all the notelets are complete.  Place all the paper squares into the box.

To make the lid for the note holder, take a 5 3/4" square piece of vellum and score at 12 on each side.  Stamp the snowflake all over using Versamark ink, add tinsel embossing powder and heat emboss.  Adhere the box lid together.

Card Size: 7.5" x 3 3/4"
On white card stamp the Winter Wonderland sentiment using Red Ink It Up ink and heat emboss using clear embossing powder.  Die Cut using a circle die.  Add more red ink around the edges and heat emboss using clear embossing powder.  Die cut the swirl die from white card and cut in half.
Measure some red pearlescent card to measure 7.5" x 3 3/4" and a strip of card to measure 1/2" x 3 3/4".  Stamp all over these card pieces as before using white Ink It Up ink and heat set.  Score and fold the card in half using the Score-Pal board.  Adhere the strip of red card over the die cuts and add to the card using glue.  Cut off the parts that overlap at the sides of the card.  Add the message to the centre (hiding the exposed part of the die cut) using foam pads.  Add a white insert.

This a perfect little set to make as Christmas present for a a crafty friend!

Heartfelt Creations - Winter Haven

Good Morning Everyone!
Even though the sun is shining today, my project for Heartfelt Creations  this week is a Christmas card using the Gateway to the Seasons Collection.  Such a lovely image, that I have simply stamped it, gently watercoloured and used a glitter pen to highlight the snowy areas,( the glitter is there although it was hard to photograph!). Full instructions are below.

Card instructions are:
Card Size: 15cm x 10cm
Stamp the Winter Scene onto cream card using Memento pear tart ink.  Using a water brush, gently go over the image to soften the colouring and allow to dry.  Die cut using a circle die.  Also die cut the next size up out of green card.  Add green ink around the edges and heat emboss using clear embossing powder.  Using a glitter pen, highlight the snowy areas and layer the die cuts together.    Die cut 2 of the largest rectangles out of  bronze pearlescent card. On one of the die cuts, stamp the snowflake using Versamark ink and allow to dry.  Cut  a small card blank (to fit inside) measuring 13.5cm x 8.5cm and glue the die cuts together to form the outer card.  Add the winter scene to the main card using foam pads.  Die cut the tags from green card.  Stamp the wording using Versafine black ink, heat emboss and cut out.  Adhere to the tags using foam pads.  Add ribbon around the card, add some gold cord threading though the tags and tie into a bow.

In The Garden.....

Good Morning All!
A male card today, with a garden theme.  This little stamp I have had for a few years and I really enjoy using it.  I have stamped the image twice, coloured it with Promarkers and then die cut it out.  I added some blue distress ink around the edges whilst the card was still in the die, then decoupaged the plant pots and the fork using foam pads.  The background was embossed and I have used ink around the edges and then heat embossed with clear embossing powder. (I have used this technique a lot recently, gives a lovely finish as an alternative to layering onto card).  Finally the words and tag dies are from Heartfelt Creations, have used these a lot recently too - just love them!

My card today features the beautiful birdhouse stamp and I have used the sentiments stamp for the background.

The card Instructions are:
Card Size - 14.5 x 10.5cm
Stamp the All Seasons Sentiments stamp onto Kraft card using Memento Potter's Clay ink and cut out.  Gently bland around the edges using the same ink.  Add brown ink to the edges and heat emboss with clear embossing powder.  On separate card, stamp the birdhouse twice using black archival ink.  Gently watercolour one full image using green and brown memento inks and just the birdhouse on the duplicate.  Cut down and around the image to measure 5cm x 11cm.  Again gently blend around the edges, add brown ink to the edges and heat emboss.  Cut around the second birdhouse and use the tool kit to create a hole for the entrance.  Using foam pads, add over the original image.  On separate card, stamp the top half of the All Seasons stamp using black versafine ink and heat emboss.  Cut down the words Cherish, Precious and Moments.  Add cord around the stamped image, thread a button and tie into a bow.  Adhere the birdhouse image using foam pads and the words using glue.  To complete, add this to your main card blank using foam pads.

Heartfelt Creations - Intertwining Leaves Gift Box

Good Morning All! Today on the Heartfelt Creations Blog my project this week is a beautiful Intertwining Leaves Gift Box, made using the Gift Ensemble Die.

The Instructions Are:
Using the Ensemble Die and cream card stock, die cut the box template 4 times. Using paper from the Sun Kissed Fleur collection cut 4 rectangles to fit the centres of the box sides. (Mine measured 8.8cm x 5.8 cm to give a small border) Add blue ink to the edges and heat emboss using clear embossing powder. Adhere to the box centres using double sided tape. Adhere all the sides and assemble the box. Stamp the leaf swirl twice using Memento Bamboo Leaves onto paper from the collection and die cut using the matching die. Also die cut 2 leaf swirls using the same paper and add to the box using foam pads and glue. Stamp the Striped Sun Kissed Flower in blue and the leaves in green ink and heat emboss. Die cut using the matching die. Make the flower using 4 layers with foam pads, add the leaves and adhere to the top of the box. Add 2 small flowers onto the leaf swirls and add a white pearl to the centre of all the flowers.

Heartfelt Creations - Wonderful Birthday

Good Morning All.  Apologies for not posting my Heartfelt Creations card yesterday.  It has been made using the Sun Kissed Fleur Collection.

I am really enjoying creating cards with clean lines to show the beautiful detailing of these stamps by Heartfelt Creations!  They stamp so easily with wonderful results!  ( I tried my best to get a good photograph again without too much reflection from the acetate!)

The Card Instructions Are
Card Size 10.5cm x 14.5cm.
Cut a piece of card to measure 10cm x 14cm and dry emboss using the Swiss Dots embossing folder.  Add orange ink to the edges and emboss with clear embossing powder.  On a separate piece of white card stamp the Striped flowers with orange ink and heat emboss, die cut using the matching die.  Choose three flowers and adhere together using foam pads.  Stitch the button onto the flower using some orange thread.  On a piece of acetate measuring 10.5cm x 14cm, stamp the frame just above the centre in black StazOn ink and leave to dry.  On a separate piece of white card stamp the sentiment in Versafine Black Ink and heat emboss.  Die cut using a Labels 3 die.  Adhere the sentiment die cut to the card using foam pads.  Add the acetate (so that the frame is over the sentiment) and attach using eyelets on the left side first.  Create a slight dome with the acetate and attach to the right side with eyelets.  Add the flower to the acetate using foam pads, then adhere to the main card using double sided tape.

Wedding Wishes

Good Morning All! Hope you all had a lovely sunny weekend with maybe some crafting along the way!
I have a wedding card to share today with a LOTV stamp, which I have coloured in using my Promarkers.   I have used this stamp many times and it never disappoints.

Quite a simple design using the Tied Together embossing folder for the background and some organza ribbon.

Heartfelt Creations - Only One Like You

Good Evening All!
It's Wednesday, so I have a Heartfelt Creations card to share which is also featured today on the Heartfelt Creations Blog

I created a Clean and Simple Card using the Sun Kissed Fleur Swirls stamp.  Such a lovely, detailed stamp that I wanted to use gilding flakes with it. ( I tried my best to get a good photograph, but it still doesn't show the beautiful shine of those gilding flakes.)
The card instructions are:
Card Size 10.5cm x 14.5cm.
Using the flower swirl stamp, stamp four times onto a piece of plain white card using the flitterglu.  Cover the images with gilding flakes and clean up using a texture sponge.  Cut down the card to measure 10cm x 14cm. Add some more flitterglu to the edges and add gilding flakes.  Cut a piece of plain white card to measure 2.5cm x 10cm (this was the width of the ribbon I used). Add this to the card.  Add the ribbon over this card and adhere on the reverse using double sided tape, then add the twine and tie into a small bow.  Adhere this to the main card blank with glue.  Stamp the sentiment onto white card using black ink and heat emboss.  Die cut using a Spellbinder circle die.  Adhere to the card using foam pads.
