Anniversary Card

I have an Anniversary card to show today.  This card was made for a request by a friend.  I have tried to keep it focused around the sentiment for which I have used my Spellbinder Fancy Tag Dies.  I love this set, as they are so pretty and can add that finishing touch to a card.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:

Spring Engagement..........

Today's card was made some time ago for an engagement.  The image is stamped and coloured in using my promarkers and then die cut. The scalloped edge was die cut from some pink glitter card to brighten it up.  I just love the simpleness of the card, with the fresh pastel colours.

Another Butterfly Card...

Hi All! Well, another simple butterfly card today.  I'm trying to use up all those bits and pieces on my desk and this is what I came up with. After the lovely weather last week and seeing butterflies in the garden, I have been using them on my cards also.

Also liking all those fresh, pastel, spring colours!

Butterfly Birthday Card.........

On today's card I have used my new Marianne butterfly die, which is beautiful and so elegant.  I can see myself using this alot!  I also wanted to try something different with my ribbon along the card - what do you think?  So easy to do also!

Going to enter my card into the Sir Stampalot Challenge Birthday:
My first challenge entry, so I hope that I do it correctly.

A Floral Card and some tags.......

As I have been away from blogging for a week, I thought I would share two types of projects today, a floral card and some tags!  The card is simply made using my embossing folders and Dawn Bibby's Daisy stamp - one of my all time favourite stamps!  I stamped and cut out the flowers and then embossed them, added card candi with a glitter sticker in the centre.

For my tags I have used many different inks and stamps.  In particular my distress and adirondack inks and my Cosmic Shimmer sprays.  My favourite is the 'Thanks' tag and it was made using bits and pieces I had on my desk, so very pleased with the result!

Niece's Birthday Card....

Today's card is one that I made for my niece's birthday.  It is pink and girly for a 6 year old!  Very simply made with a Kanban stamped image, then coloured in with my promarkers. Ribbon and sentiment added.

Spring Yellow...........

Yesterday I was inspired by two blogs to create my finished card.  I firstly looked at Elaine Wheeler's blog and saw that she was brave and used yellow, so I thought, maybe I can do that? Next, I was inspired by Clare Buswell's blog where she has a tutorial on paper ruffles which are beautiful and I will try out this week, but I actually used ribbon, sewed it onto my card for a floaty, elegant look over a simple stamped background and added my sentiment.
I like the result! To add a little more texture, I added an insert with a lovely border using a Martha Stewart punch.

Pink And Girly.........

Good Afternoon all,
Today's card is very simple, pink and girly.  Sometimes, quick cards are a must! I simply added a chipboard embellishment and some ribbon. The background paper was pretty enough with glitter accents already added.

Simple but effective......................

Vintage Theme....

Today I have recreated a card that I made for a friend last year.  As I was having a small tidy up on my craft desk, I came across this stamp and had to use it once again! I opted for soft colouring using my distress inks and a water brush.

The flower was easily made with several die cut layers of paper, then spritzing them with water and slowly drying them with my heat tool.  A nice finishing touch!

Small piece of work....... to giveaway!

Good Morning all! Today I thought I would share a smaller piece of artwork, an artist trading card with a garden theme.  I thought it was appropriate for this time of year. I am so waiting for the weather to warm up so that the garden can be tidied up and prepared for the spring plantings!
I have simply stamped the image and coloured it in using my pro markers. Then I stamped the image again, so that I could cut out some areas to layer up.  The writing is computer printed and adhered and a little distress inks added to the edges.

 Hope you all like it!
I would like to give this away.  If you would like to receive it, please leave me a comment on this post by the 1st of March 2012 and I will choose a winner!
