Today the Alumni team are sharing creations made with the Black Friday release from Heartfelt Creations - The Elegant Gateway Dies and Accents Collection.  The die I have used is the Ornate Flourish Gateway Die, which I die cut mainly in white, added some ink around the decorative insert pieces and then added my flowers.  The flowers are stamped in pink using the sunflower stamp, I then added the centre accent from the flowering dogwood flower collection along with the matching leaves and a gem for the centre to complete.

From myself this month I needed a do a replacement card fairly quickly as I managed to somehow spill water on my table......... So I remember seeing a card with a paper strips effect and have given it ago - it has been a few years since I last tried this. I have used the Classic Sunflower Stamp as a background stamp using black ink and heat embossed with clear powder.  Completed with a sentiment and some coloured sequins to complete.

From myself this month I've made a small floral card using the daisy flowers which I love.  I challenged myself to use some black paper and pink flowers on a smallish card.  Quite easy to create, I added leaves to complete which probably to me the longest to place! Oh, and a little pink twine if you can spot it!

From myself this month I needed a quick card.  I also wanted to use some watercolour card and new inks that I had bought - this is the result! I have used the Classic Sunflower Stamp as a background, heat embossed with gold powder and then created a water colour effect using 3 shades of blue inks.  Completed with 2 sentiment tags and some coloured twine to match.

 From myself this month it's another floral card but I challenged myself to use colours that I don't usually use much. I have used the smallest Delightful Daisy flowers and used two tones of background papers - they were actually from the leftover card box!  A fairly simple card to create, completed with some ribbon and natural twine to add texture elements.

 From myself this month I've created a floral card made using the Arianna Blooms in bright rainbow colours tones to blend in with the background paper - the leaves/vines that I have used are from the Cut Mat Create set listed below.  Another simple card and design, have added some natural twine and pearls in the background today again. The pearls - I hadn't planned on adding, but I got some glue onto the background paper and used the pearls to cover it up - has this ever happened to you too?
