Heartfelt Creations - Everyday Moments

Good Morning All!
I have loved using the Majestic Morning Collection by Heartfelt Creations, all those lovely bright papers and the Majestic Blooms Die is just wonderful!  So many types of flowers can be made with it.  I was experimenting when I made this flower and was very pleased with the result.  I wanted it 'to pop off the card' so kept the background very plain. Would love to read your thoughts and comments on my card!

Card Size: 10cm x 10cm (3 7/8" x 3 7/8")
Instructions:
Stamp the vintage floral image onto some white card using the Versafine black ink. Allow to dry. Apply your two colours (Lemon and Pink) gently over the image using the ink dusters, on both sides of the card.  Die cut using the Majestic Blooms Die and create the flower as shown in this tutorial. Adhere the layers together using foam pads and add black microbeads to the centre of the smallest flower.  Cut down some paper (as shown) from the paper collection to measure 9 1/2cm x 9 1/2cm (3 6/8" x 3 6/8"). Add the silver ink around the edges and heat emboss with clear embossing powder.  Adhere to the card blank.  Add the orange ribbon around the card and adhere on the inside. Die cut the message using the tag die. Create a loopy bow with the twine, thread the sentiment through and add to the card. Die cut the leaves from green cardstock, add to the card using glue and foam pads, then adhere the flower using a strong glue to complete.

Heartfelt Creations - Simple Time Card

Good Morning All, Hope that you are all well! Are you all using your crafty items received at Christmas?

This is my card that was featured on the Heartfelt Creations blog yesterday.  It was a difficult card to photo as I have used acetate and was trying not to get any reflection. The colours are more softer on the actual card than here in the photo, so apologies.  I have included the instructions below.

Card Size: 13 1/2cm x 10cm (5 2/8" x 4")
Instructions:
Stamp the image onto some white card using the Versafine black ink.  Apply your two colours (Lemon and Pink) gently over the image using the ink dusters. Create an aperture card using using the matting basics set A (using the 3rd largest size) and cut down card to the size indicated.  Stamp the image onto acetate using StazOn ink and leave to dry.  Die cut the image using the matting basics set B (using the 2nd largest die). Apply strong thin tape around the outside edge and adhere in the aperture.  Then also adhere the coloured image accurately beneath and trim the excess.  Adhere another piece of orange card to make the inside neat. Complete by adding the  pearls to the flower centres.

Heartfelt Creations - Simple Floral Sorry Card

Good Morning All!
Last week, Heartfelt Creations launched The Majestic Morning Collection which has a beautiful vibrant colour palette of pinks, oranges, greens and yellows.  The collection includes floral stamps along with the Majestic Morning  Die which enables you to cut 12 different  flowers at a time! On the Heartfelt Creations blog there is also a video where Emma Lou demonstrates 3 flower shaping techniques. They truly are wonderful!
My first card with this collection uses the flowers as a flat overlay.  Full instructions are below.

Card Size: 11cm x 11cm  (4 1/8" x 4 1/8")
Instructions:
Using a white card blank, die cut the card shape using the Fleur De Lis Square die. (Place the die just over the fold, so it will still be joined). Then cut one more from a single sheet of white card and adhere over the card front. Stamp the main image onto white card using a mixture of the VersaColor Grape and Boysenberry inks and heat emboss with clear embossing powder.  Cut down this card to a square measuring 8 1/2cm x 8 1/2cm (3 1/8" x 3 1/8") so that it fits in the centre.  Add the Grape ink around the edges and heat emboss. Then adhere to the main card using foam pads. Stamp 3 flowers using the 3 ink colours listed onto white card, heat emboss and die cut using the matching die. Also stamp the sentiment onto white card using the Grape coloured ink, heat emboss and die cut using a circle die. Adhere the sentiment onto the card using foam pads and arrange the flowers around, securing with foam pads. Add the purple bow using hot glue to complete.

Heartfelt Creations - Dream Background Card

Good Afternoon!
My card today is one of my favourites using the Floral Key Collection.  When I sat down to make this card, I was playing around with colours and the background stamp and came up with a black and gold card - quite dramatic for me, but really pleased with the end result!  The image stamps beautifully and I just love all the wording, can be used for so many different occasions.

Card Size: 11cm x 11cm.
Instructions:
Stamp the background image onto black card using Versamark ink and heat emboss using gold powder. Cut down this piece to measure 10cm x 10cm.  Add versamark ink around the edges and heat emboss using gold powder.  Cut a larger piece of black card to measure 10 1/2cm x 10 1/2 cm.  Using the Scor-Pal board, score diagonal lines from each corner to create a background.  Again add Versamark ink around the edges and heat emboss.  Wrap some organza ribbon around the main image and secure on the reverse.  Add the gold twine on top and tie on the reverse. Layer this piece onto the other black card using foam pads. Adhere these to the main card blank using double sided tape.  Stamp the key onto black card using Versamark, but mask out the words 'is in the'. Emboss with gold powder. Die cut the key using the matching die, then trim the key to only use the top part.  Create a bow, add the sentiment using gold cord and glue into place using a hot glue gun.

Heartfelt Creations - For You

Happy New Year My Friends!
Hoping that you all had an enjoyable evening.  Ours was spent at friends chatting, eating, relaxing and then watching the countdown and fireworks on television.  New Year, new start! I will try to post more regularly on my blog as I know I got a little behind last year.  I was updating my cards on the computer and there are still some that I haven't shared with you all!  I also need a big tidy up in my craft area, this will take a while, but I need to get organised!

My card today is made using the Floral Key Collection by Heartfelt Creations.  It is also featured on their blog today along with more inspiration from the Design Team.  There is also a sneak peak of the new Majestic Morning Collection which will be launched on January 8th!

Card Size: 12cm x 12cm (4 6/8" x 4 6/8")
Instructions:
Cut out the image from the paper collection to measure 11 1/2cm x 11 1/2cm (4 1/2" x 4 1/2").  Add the green Ink It Up ink around the edges and heat emboss with clear embossing powder.  Adhere to the main card blank. Cut the olive green card down to measure 11 1/2cm x 4cm (4 1/2" x 1 5/8").  Emboss using the vines embossing folder.  Sand down gently and adhere to the top of the card.  Add the lace around the card and secure on the inside.  Cut a thin strip of the olive card to hide the joins and adhere into place  -   (1/2cm x 11 1/2 cm or 2/8" x 4 1/2").  Add some gold twine around and tie into a bow.  Stamp the sentiment onto white card using the green ink and heat emboss with clear embossing powder.  Using the circle die sets, die cut the message and a matte from the green card.  Layer together and adhere to the card using foam pads. Die cut the tiny flowers from dark red card, mold into shape and add to the card.  Add the pearls to complete.
